9 Resources for Veteran Small Business Owners
By IASourceLink Admin
According to the 2012 data from the U.S. Census Bureau, there are over 23,000 veteran-owned businesses. And in that snapshot of time, those 23,000 businesses had almost 60,000 employees. Next week we celebrate our nation’s Independence Day.  There will be barbeques, fireworks, parades and festivities all across Iowa.  The holiday is a great opportunity to gather with friends and families.  It’s also a time that people throughout the nation remember and thank the veterans who have defended the freedoms we hold dear.  As Iowans though, we don’t wait for a particular holiday to remember these heroes.
