Featured Beer

Category 4 Red IPA

Brewed on a limited basis, the Category 4 is our red India Pale Ale, meaning we use additional specialty malts to give this IPA extra complexity and nuance. It stands as the middle pillar of our Hurricane Series, nestled between the traditionally hopped Category 3 IPA and our imperial IPA, the Category 5.

Available now in our tap room and in 4-pack cans for $7.99, or as part of the Hurricane Variety 6-pack for $10.99, which includes all three IPAs.

Wynwood Diner

You can't help but stand in wonder at the Wynwood Arts district of Miami: The colorful walls, the impressive graffiti art, and the overwhelmingly independent businesses.

Almost dead center in this wonderful maze is the Wynwood Diner.

This is not your typical diner. While the fare may look familiar, the overall appearance and ambiance is a complete work of art. Category 5 IPA graces the limited draft lineup and Caramel Cream Ale cans are a regular favorite.

How has your view of craft beer changed after working at Due South for three years?
My view of craft beer hasn't changed too much to be honest. Previously, I thought craft beer was just a "fad" within beer drinkers on the search for unique and overall different beers. Now being completely immersed in the craft beer industry, I can see that there are so many hands delved into the aspects of making beer and even drinking it! Within my time at Due South, craft beer had changed from a "fad" to a demand, of course with us making such a delicious product!

What is your favorite part of your job at Due South?
Along with being part of a stellar team and kicking ass every day, my favorite part of the job is seeing a new customer that has never had our beer, much less ever been to the brewery, be completely surprised about how much they enjoy it and seeing them return with even more people.

Other than the Due South taproom, where is your favorite place to drink a Due South beer?
Dixie Bar and Grill, for sure. The owners are super friendly with a cool atmosphere to sit and have a cold one. Also, with such a wide variety of cans we offer, I enjoy Due South almost anywhere, mostly fishing and relaxing at the beach.
