To Comfort always, to Relieve often, to Save sometimes
Caption: Dr. Joyce with Dr. John Ngan

This month we had Dr John Ngan and his wife May, visit us from Hong Kong. We spent some precious time with them. John’s organization, MedArt has help countless orphaned children over the past 10 years or so and the picture above is of him with only some of the babies still in Beijing he has helped us with. Many have been adopted and gone on to loving families.

We also welcomed the Dorris family. As most of you know, Rebecca Dorris from Tennesee, has helped us by sending much needed supplies from the US via visitors bringing in suitcases when they come to Beijing for the past 12  years or so. We estimate that by now, she would have sent over 20 tons of medical and other supplies since she first began to help us. They have been a tremendous blessing to our work and we thank all those who have donated suitcases and supplies to enable Rebecca to help us.

Students from WAB international school in Beijing have been wonderful supporters of our work, from covering surgical costs to coming on weekends to spend time playing with our children. One little story was related by one of the teachers from this school just warms our hearts. A seven year old student set up a little table in front of her house to raise funds for our babies and she danced for the people in the hope that they would be willing to help. I wish we had a picture to show but just imagining this small child dancing so that others would live brings tears to my eyes.

Thankfully,

Dr. Joyce and Robin Hill, with Dr. Steve Nelson Martin

Thanks and Needs

Our thanks this month go to all our supporters especially to that little 7yr old Joyce mentioned also to Primavera who once again have continued to support this work. We would also like to mention the ISB team that raised funds through their fashion show and the ongoing support for surgeries from WAB.

Once again we have all that we needed for the foster home with about U$2000 left in the bank. Next month we start again looking forward to God’s amazing provision.
