This post will be part of a wider cohort of trainees and craft fellows across Historic Environment Scotland (HES) Conservation Directorate and based with partners throughout Scotland. Trainees and fellows have the opportunity to gain experience in their chosen field or craft, increase knowledge of the wider conservation sector, expand their professional network and have access to the Engine Shed learning resources.
You will work with the engineers of the Loch Lomond Steamship Company, gaining experience that will introduce you to traditional engineering skills. There will also be opportunities to visit other industrial museums and learn about wider industrial heritage conservation skills.
