February 2018 Recap

Spending the weekend (2/9-11/2018) at an awesome cabin in Truckee (northwest of Lake Tahoe) with a hot tub. On 2/10 (the only full day), a group of us went skiing and snowboarding at Northstar Ski Resort, and another group of us hiked along Donner Lake and drove around South Lake Tahoe.
Nakayoshi volunteers helped out at Nichibei's Films of Remembrance event in Japantown. We cooked food, served drinks and assisted with setup.
Nakayoshi volunteers were honored to help out at the Bay Area Day of Remembrance 2018: 30th Anniversary of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988: No Barbed Wire! No Walls! Carrying the Light for Justice.
Nakayoshi members hosted a "Write To Your Reps" session and lunch potluck, writing postcards urging representatives in Congress to act on passing a #CleanDreamAct
