Nakayoshi Monthly Newsletter

Hey, Arisa!

right off the bat, just wanted to highlight that we will be hosting our annual Nihonmachi Street Fair udon/somen booth this weekend. This is our main fundraising effort for the year. As such, by volunteering at our booth or by buying our noodles, you will help Nakayoshi keep the lights on and help us put together our events.

Other than that, we also have a fun camping trip later this month. So if you're looking for an opportunity to hang out in the great outdoors, this is a great event for you!

Have a good August and see you soon!

Events in the Community
Nihonmachi Street Fair
The Nihonmachi Street Fair considers itself the original “melting pot” of street fairs, with many aspects of Asian-Pacific American life—and San Francisco’s cultural life—expressed through performance, tradition, art, music, food, and community outreach and service.
Continually evolving to reflect the city it celebrates while staying true to its original idea: to use this event as a platform to mentor Asian-Pacific American youths and foster their leadership and communication skills through volunteerism and community service. The Fair is produced, staffed, and organized by volunteers, thus providing practical, hands-on experience in collaboration, entrepreneurship, and problem solving.

The Nihonmachi Street Fair is proud of its 40 plus year history in serving the community through education, service, and youth mentorship. Nihonmachi Street Fair is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Organization. Tax ID: 94-3088515
