June 2016 Recap

The Nichi Bei Foundation held its 6th Soy and Tofu Festival, an annual fundraiser for their newspaper that also spreads their love of soy. To help, Nakayoshi members cooked mabo tofu, tofu sushi rolls, soy sauce caramel over ice cream and soymilk kanten jelly for all the volunteers and to raise funds for the cause. Thanks to everyone who helped during the long day --- none of this would have happened without you! More photos
Thank you ALL for coming out to our 8th annual Welcome BBQ! It was such a pleasure to meet our new attendees and catch up with our regulars as well! We got to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather, delicious meals and drinks brought by our participants, and fun games such as hit-the-watermelon! and beer relay. More photos
