Brandeis Bloodline Workshop

Weekend Workshop

With George Kamana Hunter
Feb. 6th-8th, 2015
At the Brandeis-Bardin Institute Retreat Center
Brandeis , CA

It's time to Unburden your Family History!

The Bloodline Healing approach is a unique way to identify and heal the burdens we inherit from our family line. By creating a safe environment where people can communicate directly with their ancestors, a powerful cathartic and liberating process begins. We help participants
unburden heavy expectations, release trapped grief and ultimately recognize the gifts of belonging to their lineage.

What you will experience...
  • Healing of family and cultural wounds.
  • Releasing of burdens: the trauma and shame that is passed down through our bloodlines.
  • Shedding and stepping out of family scripts and inherited roles.
  • Honoring the gifts: uncovering the particular strengths and joy of our inheritance that have previously been concealed by the burdens.
What we do...
  • Explore our family tree
  • Powerful group cathartic process and interactive exercises
  • Unburdening ceremonies
  • Healing communication with our ancestry
  • Honoring circles
  • Embodying the gifts we carry inside
  • Guided Hikes
  • Take a dip in the pool
  • Campfire night on Saturday

Participants have commented:
The workshop was powerful and amazing ... since the workshop I have never felt more relaxed and at peace... I haven't felt that neurotic energy from my family since. In the past I would have been a neurotic - stressed out mess but I feel really grounded and trust so much more deeply that life is unfolding in the most perfect way.
I can't fully describe the internal shift I've been experiencing since the weekend. I feel lighter mentally and physically. Free. I'm laughing more and sharing more and seeing myself and the world around me more clearly and more positively.

I didn't realize until after the workshop that I have never displayed pictures of my family in any of my homes since graduating from college. I didn't want a painful visual reminder of lineage and figured the past is something best left behind, but the workshop helped me deal with the toxic elements of my familial history and embrace the good; the rich history of my ancestors who helped shaped the person I am today. Now, I pass pictures of my family every day and it makes me smile. Just another example of how the workshop has enriched my life.

Join us for a rare opportunity. Previous experience with any form of therapy or cathartic process work and a phone interview required for entry to the workshop. Have questions? Don’t hesitate to contact George Kamana Hunter at 646 296-2194
