Over £215,000 raised so far in our latest share offer
We're absolutely delighted to report that our latest share offer has already raised £215,000.
Our target is to raise £500k for a collection of projects that will reduce CO2 emissions by 1,309 tonnes over their lifetime. That's enough carbon savings to offset 1,443 TransAtlantic flights!

Solar Power For Local Homes
The cost of solar panels has fallen 75% in the last ten years, making micro-generation much more accessible and affordable for regular homeowners. 
BHESCo have worked with a number of local residents to help them install solar panels and battery storage for no upfront cost.  We are keen to support more people in their journey to energy independence.
We've recently published a myth busting blog which addresses some common misconceptions about solar power.
Regen Green Energy Awards
BHESCo were invited to the 2019 Regen Green Energy Awards held at the historic Assembly Rooms in Bath. The ceremony was preceded by a conference featuring discussions and presentations by some of the leading lights of the energy industry. To cap the day, BHESCo were crowned winners of the Best Community Energy Initiative  - our third prestigious industry award of 2019!
An Inspiring Visit To Patcham Junior School
This month, BHESCo were delighted to be invited to take part in Patcham Junior School's 'Plant A Tree' day.  Kayla Ente, BHESCo's CEO, addressed the school assembly discussing the importance and benefits of the 28kW solar array BHESCo installed on their roof this summer. Their solar panels are the equivalent of planting 1,900 trees, saving 178 tonnes of carbon emissions over their lifetime, supporting Patcham Junior to achieve environmental sustainability and financial savings .

Moratorium on fracking in the UK
After a decade of protests, legal challenges, and temporary suspensions, the UK government has issued a moratorium on all fracking activities in England, effectively banning this controversial industry. We sincerely hope that this will evolve into an outright permanent ban, and is not simply a short-term election stunt. Read more...

Partnering with Brighton Lions Club on Project Wenceslas
Every year, Brighton Lions Club launches its Project Wenceslas appeal, a campaign which helps combat fuel poverty in the City of Brighton and Hove. 
The idea behind the project is simple yet effective. People who receive the annual Winter Fuel Payment and feel they don’t need it are invited to donate the amount to Brighton Lions who make sure that every penny goes towards helping people struggling with fuel debts. Read more...
