Padgett Wins The "Directors Choice Exterior Renovation" Award!

Home Builders Association of Greater Southwest Illinois Remodelers Council recently named Padgett Building & Remodeling Co. Inc. a 2012 Remodeler of Distinction in the “Directors Choice Exterior Renovation”, in recognition of their professional remodeling expertise. The award was given at the Home Builders Association Installation Banquet held recently in Fairview Heights, IL.

“Padgett Building & Remodeling Co. Inc. is one of our areas outstanding leaders in the remodeling industry,” said HBA Executive Officer, Tracy Butler “I’m honored to bestow this award upon an industry leader who has shown such dedication to promoting consumer awareness, professionalism and community service.”

The HBA Remodelers of Distinction Awards were created to bring attention to the extraordinary work performed in the renovation side of the housing industry. A team of judges, professionals in the remodeling and design fields, carefully review entries in each category against tough criteria, considering workmanship, value to client, materials used, trades involved, innovative solutions and special conditions.

Carpenter Spotlight

Joe Minor

Joe Minor began his career with Padgett Building and Remodeling in 2002. He is a Lead Carpenter and Project Superintendent. He has been in the construction industry since 1988 where he was employed by his Father in their family business which began with his Grandfather. His vast knowledge of all aspects of the business from his years of experience provides our clients an additional resource for advice and questions that occur throughout the building process. As the Project Superintendent, he will see the job through from start to finish with a quality of service that is unsurpassed.

Joe graduated from Althoff Catholic High School in 1985 and attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He and his wife Angie reside in Shiloh, IL, along with their two sons, Austin and Dylan. Austin is 15 and a sophomore at O’Fallon High School; Dylan is 12 and attends St. Clare Catholic School.

In his free time, Joe enjoys attending his sons’ sporting events, traveling with his family, and getting together with his extended family. He also enjoys his new hobby of home-brewing.

Joe’s passion for building and attention to detail allows our client’s to create the space of their dreams.
