Due to COVID-19, in-person workshops have been temporarily suspended until further notice.  We continue to accept requests for future in-person workshop visits.
Peopleologie had such an incredible month bringing hands-on field trips to folks!

The images here are from online visits with students and families.

Here's how

Through interactive virtual meetings, we took field trips around the world.  Slideshows, artifacts, and guided instruction spurred some eye-popping creations!
These are rafts inspired by a workshop on indigenous Coast Miwok and Ohlone culture, past, and present day life.  Backyard gardens and neighborhood plants were used to bind and weave rafts, which then were floated in puddles, bathtubs, and sinks!

We created with everyday materials...

Yes, that's an organic anteater feasting on tasty multicolored ants while a spider and centipede hungrily watch nearby.  He was shared with the class after the virtual workshop, No-Tech Toys.  Students drew inspiration from a slideshow, then scavenged items from recycling, and engineered their original masterpieces.
