ILE Recipients


The 2019 recipients of the Irma L English Memorial Music Scholarship have been announced! This year six students were selected to receive a scholarship to attend a Michigan music summer camp of their choice. Congratulations to this years recipients!

New Funds           

There are two new funds at the Branch County Community Foundation! 

The Kelli Loveberry Fund
The Kelli Loveberry Fund was recently created in memory of Kelli Loveberry. Kelli was a very talented artist and worked as a graphic designer 2nd Story Marketing. The Fund will be used to provide opportunities for the youth in Quincy, Michigan area to participate in visual arts and graphics design programming or related programs/purposes. 

The Union City Senior Project Fund
The Union City Senior Project Fund was created in partnership with the Village of Union City and the Senior Center Committee to bring a Senior Center to the Village of Union City! This project will be funded solely by donations with assistance from the Community Foundation. This project will bring a much needed facility to the Village with multiple intended uses for Union City and the surrounding areas.

Nola and George Cummings

In February the recipients of the Nola and George Cummings grant cycle were announced! The newly created fund supports charitable programs and projects that benefit the Colon Community. The first grant cycle funded $3,301.08 in programs for Colon Community Schools that range from summer slide prevention to art students making their own sketch books from hand like Leonardo da Vinci. 

Love Where You Live!


Local donations to BCCF have supported AEDs and portable respirators for First Responders, air tanks and community education trailers for Fire Departments, tasers for law enforcement, home meal delivery to Seniors, playgrounds, skate parks, libraries, museums, water conservation, suicide prevention, parenting and life skills classes, books for kids, pet spaying and neutering, cultural events, nonprofit support, child abuse prevention, food pantries and other basic needs funding, and so much more!  Anyone can support our communities’ emerging needs and opportunities.  Love where you live, work, and play.   Give to the Forever Fund or talk to us about creating a named Community Fund of your own!  Email info@BrCoFoundation.org or call 517-278-4517 for more information.
