Rosenberg Family Endowment Fund Makes Contribution to Coldwater Schools of Hope

The Rosenberg Family Endowment Fund, a fund within the Branch County Community Foundation, committed to a matching grant for the Coldwater Schools of Hope Program for the year of 2018. During 2018 The Coldwater Schools of Hope Fund was able to raise $4,500 and in return, the Rosenberg Family Endowment Fund made a matching grant for $4,500. The grant was made in memory of Phyllis Rosenberg, the past director of the Branch District Library who had a passion for literacy.

The Coldwater Schools of Hope program is run by volunteer tutors who take time out of their week to read with children at Jefferson Elementary. The Coldwater Schools of Hope program is always looking for volunteers. If you’re interested, please contact Mark Ott.

There is so much more we want you to know! If you’re interested in learning more about supporting the Coldwater Schools of Hope Fund visit the Community Foundation’s website, calling 517-278-4517, or stopping in the office at 2 W Chicago St in downtown Coldwater.

Why Colon? Why BCCF?

Many donors wonder why they send their gifts to the Branch County Community Foundation when they live in the Colon area. Many other donors wonder why the Branch County Community Foundation serves an area that is in St. Joseph County. It’s a long a beautiful relationship which continues to benefit both Branch County and the Colon area.
