YAC Grant Recipients

The Youth Advisory Council, a youth philanthropy group within the Branch County Community Foundation, has announced the recipients of their 2019 grant cycle! The group granted out a total of $16,600 with funding going to five different programs and projects that not only impact youth, but also had youth involved in the grant writing process. Quincy Educational Endowment Fund

The Branch County Community Foundation attended the Quincy Community Schools Year end breakfast and presented $8,795 to the recipients of the 2019 Quincy Educational Endowment Fund Mini Grants! 

Mini-grants were awarded to: Anna Martuch, Jennifer Benson, Carol Briner, Mellissa Connin, Maureen Suever, Vicki Heckel, Tara Maurer, Alicia Marriott, Erin Marshall, David Bach, Beth Karney and Sharon Powell.

The projects ranged from marching band color guard uniforms, a trip to see a Spanish concert and motivational speaker for the High School Spanish class, and middle school STEM kits and STEM classroom station. 

2019 Scholarship Recap

The Branch County Community Foundation celebrated the 2019 scholarship recipients this May with their annual scholarship breakfast. The Community Foundation awarded $38,500 to 24 students! View all 2019 Scholarship recipients here.


The Branch County Community Foundation is looking for donors who believe in our mission, share our values, and are available to volunteer. If you would love an opportunity to share ideas about what we could do to improve our communities, better serve donors, and/or create innovative ways to diversify revenue – let us know!
