Our neighborhood and community SOUP events are going strong this summer, but Citywide SOUP is going to take a break to buckle down on some important parts of growing in this big, beautiful city. Mark your calendars for September!

Amy Kaherl is speaking at #INSPIRE2015 Kalamazoo! As many of you know, Amy is the founder of Detroit SOUP, bringing neighborhoods in Detroit together for monthly potluck meals in order to connect communities and form micro-grants to fund creative projects.

What is #INSPIRE2015? The event is a 3-hour conference that will focus on the importance of education as a community need and responsibility. What is the story of impact? Get ready to hear from national and local experts who have woven creativity, innovation and constant change into their everyday culture.
