Looking to beat the summer heat and keep the kids happy? Why not cool off at one of the Town’s three splash pad locations at the ROC, Constable Garrett Styles Park or Whipper Watson Park. All are open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until the end of the summer. Visit georgina.ca/SplashPads to find out more about these fun summer parks.
Summer is here and it’s time to take your best shot for the Summer Photo Contest. From June 21 to Sept. 9, residents and non-residents are invited to submit photos taken in Georgina that fit into one of three categories – enjoying our parks and green spaces, Instagrammable Georgina and summer events. Submission forms are available at georgina.ca/events.
The Town is developing a Customer Service Strategy aimed at improving customer service delivery. We want to hear from you. Take our customer service survey – it’s open until July 15. It’s available online at georgina.ca/service and in hard copy at Town facilities including the Civic Centre and three library branches.
Clear out the clutter! The next Curbside Giveaway Day is July 27. Put your unwanted items at the curb from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., free of charge for other residents/neighbours to take. What hidden treasures will you find? All items must be removed by 5 p.m. and can only be put to the curb on this date. For more information, call 905-476-4301.
