Back by popular demand is Georgina's annual Swap and Sell at the Ice Palace parking lot. It takes place May 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Register as a vendor to sell your used or new wares, or come to shop. While you’re visiting, bring your old electronics to drop off free of charge at the Electronics Recycling Event. See you there!
Spend some quality time with Mom at the pool for the annual Mother’s Day Swim. Bring your mom for a swim on Sunday, May 12 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and she swims for free, with one paid admission. Visit georgina.ca/events to learn more about this fun day.
Do you have items to get rid of? Take advantage of Curbside Giveaway on May 25 and clear out the clutter! Put your unwanted items at the curb from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for other residents/neighbours to take free of charge. All items must be removed by 5 p.m. and can only be put to the curb on this date.
Do you have extra garbage? Take advantage of Bag Tag Exemption Week, May 27 to 30. Residents can put out up to five bags, items or containers, untagged, for collection. For more information, call 905-476-4301, check the Waste and Recycling Calendar or download Recycle Coach.
