GymBC and Activity Messenger Webinar: Injury/Accident Reporting

GymBC has worked with Activity Messenger to create a new online system for Injury/Accident Reports, Potential Concussion Reports, and Follow-Ups to Injury/Accident Reports.

This system allows the individual completing the form, the GymBC Member Club, and the GymBC office to immediately receive a PDF version of the completed incident report.

In the long term, this new system will allow GymBC to analyze the injuries at all member clubs and to support member clubs with resources and educational tools.

To help GymBC Member Clubs personnel utilize these forms, and to get more acquainted with Activity Messenger as a platform – GymBC and Activity Messenger will be cohosting a webinar on:

Wednesday October 13th 2021 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. PST.

Call for Media!

Gymnastics BC would like to compile a brief slideshow of gymnastics in BC from the past year.

We know it was an extremely challenging year for clubs and participants alike, and we’d like to commemorate all the little moments that make our sport so special.

This can be anything from photos of a recreational class, to virtual competition clips, to candid training moments!

We’d love to receive any photos or videos of the joy of gymnastics from last year. Please email photos, videos, or links to

2021 Canadian Gym Week Recap

Thank you for joining us in celebrating the 2021 Canadian Gym Week. It was so much fun to see all of the participants roll, swing and spring away!

We are evaluating submissions for both the social media events, as well as our drawing contest, and will be reaching out to club and individual winners over the next couple of weeks.

WAG Judging Courses

WAG Judging courses for the 2021-2022 season have now been added to the GymBC calendar!

The list of courses open for registration is available at the end of this newsletter. If you aren’t certain which course you need to take, please contact your zone judging chair.

As there is a new compulsory code this season, those who wish to judge compulsory levels are required to take either a full Level 3-5 course and exam or – for existing 3-5 judges only - the transfer course and exam.
