Forward Forward
Like so many people these days, the Office of Sustainability has been hard at work on Zoom. Check out this screenshot of our interns logging on-- from all over the world!
Dear Friend,

During this remarkable period of uncertainty and difficulty, we send our best for health and safety to you and everyone in our community. Our team has been working hard to transition to remote operations and continues to be a resource, a catalyst, and an advocate for environmental sustainability at Tufts. We are pleased that all of our interns are healthy and able to work remotely to keep our many programs alive, including the Eco-Reps, Green Fund, and Recycling Team, as well as work on community resilience building and creating new videos and online content.

We will continue to share events, opportunities and stories as the Tufts community remains active and strong despite its geographic dispersal. Most of all, we hope this message finds you well and we look forward to the day we are able to come together in person again.

Sincerely,
Tufts Office of Sustainability

Updates on early spring Move Out, Earth Month 2020, & summer hiring

Although the announcement of early spring Move Out came at short notice for everyone, the Office of Sustainability is so inspired by how the Tufts community came together to donate, reuse, and recycle. We collected almost 1,000 pounds of food donations (now at the TFRC's on-campus food pantry) and returned over 100 pounds of dining hall dishes, diverting these items from the landfill. Watch out for the full early Move Out 2020 report coming soon!

Many students' summer plans may be in flux due to COVID-19, but we are still hiring!

See the two positions available below. Interns will work under appropriate remote and/or social distancing guidelines as necessary.

Recycling InternAre you passionate about zero waste and interested in learning more about the recycling industry? April 22nd, 2020, marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, a time of remarkable change and raising of awareness for the impacts we have on the planet. In honor of this momentous occasion, the Office of Sustainability invites you to check our website and social media platforms often, and take part in Earth Month 2020 to work towards a more sustainable world for all.
