Please join us at our monthly General Membership Meetings and lend your voice to our many initiatives.  We are still seeking Committee Chairs for 5 PTSA Committees; see details below.  Chairing a PTSA Committee Chair is a great way to get involved.

Our Keystone of Volunteers

Picture Day
Textbook Check-out
New-to-IHS Night
Staff Luncheon
Staff Photographs
Had it not been for the numerous volunteers who stepped in to help during the first week of school, certain chaos would have prevailed. Well, that's a little over exaggeration, perhaps, but we're proud to have successfully offered the New-to-IHS Night event, the Staff Luncheon, and coordinated volunteers for Textbook Checkout and Picture Day.  We may have a large school but we manage to support it with a small-town personal touch! Thank you, stalwart volunteers!
Picture Day: Danielle Gonzales, Deena Eastern, Susie Cohen and Sally Feldman headed a team of volunteers who managed to usher our student body of over 2,000 students through the picture-taking process. Thanks for making this flow smoothly, folks!

Staff Photos: Michelle Enebo and Julie Hart teamed up to photograph our staff members and write up their biographies -- viewable outside classroom doors. Having served in this role for several years they've heard feedback that these photos help new staff members get to know their coworkers a little better. It's also a well-known fact that photographer Michelle has a great eye for bringing out our best profile!

Staff Luncheon: Several volunteers and our Board of Directors served up a delicious luncheon to help get our school year started off with great taste!

Textbook Checkout: There are very few schools in existence that pulled off the complex and painstaking process of textbook distribution. Our Issaquah High volunteers led by Lisa McGowen did it easily and with a smile to boot! Thank you!

This program will put you in contact with an established IHS parent so you have a resource when you have questions about our school and its programs.

Are you a "seasoned" Issy parent?

Become an IHS Parent Ambassador! With our new welcome program you can make a difference to families who are new to the Issaquah School District.  Please contact to become an Ambassador and welcome families who have recently moved to the area.  Your role is to serve as a contact person to answer questions and help our new families feel welcome to IHS.  Please consider being an Ambassador to make IHS a warm and welcoming place for our new families.
