Nearly ready to open in Cornwall.  We just can’t wait and our teams are confident we can do it in a way that will be little different from what you’re used to from us.   Head to the bottom for our guide on how we see our Covid world.

We’re open for restaurant bookings from 12pm for lunch on Saturday 18 July.  Scroll down to find out where you can do this.  For the moment, you’ll also need to book to drink with us, all through the same channels and all within the Government's guidelines on numbers.   We’ll open for drinks in the gardens from 4pm on Friday 17 July.
We remain closed for the moment in Wales, but we’re keeping a very close ear out for announcements from Cardiff Bay.  Stay tuned for more from that side of the Severn Bridge.

Book to Eat and Drink

We’re encouraging as many of you to book online as possible.  You can do it via the top right hand corner of our homepages for The Gurnard’s Head or The Old Coastguard or via any of our Facebook pages.  If you’d like to eat with us, at least initially, it will need to be by booking. And we've widened our service times on both sides of the moor.

12pm - 3pm

5.30pm - 9.30pm

10.30am - 8.45pm (last orders for drinks outside is 9pm)

And for the moment, we’re also asking for you to book if you’d like to visit for coffee, pink wine, Cornish lager or even if you’d like to nurse a glass of tap water looking out over Mount’s Bay.  When you go into our online booking, you’ll see a choice for “Eat” or “Drink”: just pick the one that applies to you.   “Drinking” will initially only be in the garden.

Inevitably, many of you will want to eat outside.  We’ll take a view each morning as to whether eating outside is climatically feasible.  If we can seat you outside, we will.  If we can’t, we’ll find you a table inside.  Please bear with us on this, the very worst option is rain falling on you while you eat.

Anything you need to know?

The results of the work we’ve done over the last three weeks can mostly be found here.  There will be other questions you’ll have as this re-opening is a learning experience for all of us.  Please direct them to our teams and we will come back to you as soon as possible.
