New Music

Some of our favorite recent releases.

Brian recommends...

Heavenly

Cigarettes After Sex

Cigarettes After Sex have a distinct and easily recognizable style and, one could argue, their songs sound similar but so far I love everything they release.

Ray recommends...

Into the Surf

FOALS

Admittedly I don't like this track quite as much as Exits, but it has a soft, slow, casual feel to it that's very nice and relaxing.

Brian recommends...

Essentially

Japanese Breakfast

Ray picked a Japanese Breakfast song in an earlier issue. It is a solo project by Michelle Zauner. Great stuff!

Ray recommends...

Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)

Bombay Bicycle Club

I thought the song was pretty good, but the video is pretty cool too. This is from their next album coming out this November.

New to You and Throwbacks

These are some our favorites that are not necessarily new.

Brian recommends...

Saltwater (2015)

Nora En Pure

You can't go wrong with a chill song based on a sample of Spandau Ballet's "True".

Ray recommends...

Lights

Ellie Goulding

I fell in love with this song as a remix first, but oddly I prefer the original version. Also - this is my favorite Just Dance track.

Brian recommends...

Fall Into You

Soulstice

This song is from Soulstice debut, "Illusion", in 2001. The band only had 3 total albums (one of which was a remix album) but Illusion remains a near perfect album in my opinion with this song being the highlight.

Ray recommends...

Sadeness

Enigma

Raise your hand if you thought it was "Sadness"?
