New Music

Some of our favorite recent releases.

So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings

Caroline Polachek

The last time I picked a Caroline Polachek song, Ray hated it, so here's another new one.

Ray recommends...

Salt and the Sea

The Lumineers

A hauntingly beautiful song. I'm only a casual fan of the Lumineers but this one song has me thinking I need to listen to them more.

Brian recommends...

Just Exist

Eliza and the Delusionals

This band comes from the Gold Coast of Australia. This song seems to just get stuck in my head all the time.

Ray recommends...

The Runner

Sorry (not sorry), another track from FOALS.

New to You and Throwbacks

These are some our favorites that are not necessarily new.

Brian recommends...

Everything Now

Arcade Fire

Yeah, you probably already know this song, but you know you want to hear it again because it is so damn good (though the video takes a bit to get to the song).

Ray recommends...

Closer But It's Ghostbusters

NIN/Ray Parker Jr

A Halloween-themed (kinda) mashup for your enjoyment.

Brian recommends...

Camper Van Beethoven

Most people know their cover of "Pictures of Matchstick Men" from Key Lime Pie, but this was the best song on that 1992 album in my opinion (even if it gets a little quirky in the middle).

Ray recommends...

King of Rock You Like a Hurricane

Run DMC/Scorpions

This was actually the very first mashup I ever heard, some Coors commercial many years ago. I can still remember being surprised by it.
