What's New With Us
Sorry for the shorter newsletter this month. The last days of March are featuring some sun and relatively mild weather. So, I would much rather be outside than in the rig, pecking away on the computer.
This month I finally finished up my Throwback Series from our year-long 2011/12 trip with a few more videos from Arizona, Utah, and the final on the west coast. I hope this series has given you some RV destination ideas.
Looking forward to when all this Covid stuff is in the past. Fingers crossed by this fall, we can start making new trip memories for 2021/22!
I've also continued playing around testing out the new Starlink internet, and so far, we are most pleased. Streaming video services like YouTube, Netflix, Amazon work great! Downloads and uploads super fast. You find a couple of new videos posted to my ongoing review.
I recently noticed an encouraging change on my Starlink account page a few days ago. It looks like they now allow online editing of the service address!
So it looks promising to maybe travel to different places with it and update location via this page. However, I'm a little afraid to test in case I lose our current address. Will just have it see how it goes for other beta testers.
Next month I look forward to removing the RV winter skirting and taking it and the other winter items to our storage locker. Then, time for spring cleaning and maintenance. The 10-year-old Couger needs some major TLC after a long wet winter on the ocean.
Thankfully Lippert is sending me out some of their Alpha System roof products to check out. As the weather warms, I plan to replace the slideout rubber roof, and this summer, maybe coat the main roof. So stay tuned for those projects.
