The January 26 Dinner Meeting of MN-IFT was organized by the Dairy Committee and featured Dr. Phil Tong, Professor of Dairy Science at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Nearing his retirement, Dr. Tong stated he wanted to share the many thoughts he has had about the future of dairy science and dairy innovation in the hopes that the next generation will pick up these ideas and explore them.

He shared many insights tapping current trends that spanned dairy products, dairy ingredients, biotechnology, and new business models and entrepreneurship. The Dairy Committee of MN-IFT would like to give a special recognition to Land O’Lakes for hosting the event at their Arden Hills Corporate Office.
