
随喜功德——不花一毫累积福德
说到培植福德,许多人都会想到供养或布施。但若没有多余的钱财布施行善,我们可以如何累积福德呢?
布施行善并非有钱人的专利。若自身的资源有限,您可以用下列的方式培植福德:
一、以好话供养:说真实且柔软的话语,让人心生欢喜。
二、以时间供养:抽出时间到慈善团体当义工,服务大众。
三、以知识供养:分享佛法或世间法,对他人不吝赐教。
四、以无畏供养:在他人有困难的时候给予安慰与鼓励,施予无畏。
除此之外,修习“随喜功德”也是积累福德资粮的重要方式之一。《普贤行愿品》云:“所有世间一毫之善,我皆随喜”。随喜功德是普贤菩萨所发的十大愿之一,其意为见到他人行善,随之生起善心与欢喜心。若自己没有多余的金钱布施修福,我们可以在他人出资建寺、供花、供灯、布施等一切善行善业,随喜对方的功德。他人作利益众生之事,我们由衷地欢喜赞叹,透过随喜的力量,我们也可以得到一分功德。因此,“随喜功德”是修福最简单、最方便的方法之一。
修习随喜功德有诸多利益,不仅可以长养自己心中的善根、福德、智慧,同时也可以对治傲慢与嫉妒等烦恼,帮助我们以一颗平等心利乐一切众生,从而长养包容心、清净心及慈悲心。让我们在日常生活中,培养一颗随喜心。对于一切公益善事,有力则助力,无力则欢喜赞叹。以清净心随喜他人善行,同时也成就自身的善心。

Q: How was the world created?
Anything that is created arises from causes that were able to produce it. Something cannot be created out of nothing. The physical world of forms was produced by previous moments of form. Science is investigating this. They may find that at the beginning of our particular universe, there were subtler physical elements from which our present universe was created. These subtler physical elements, in turn, were a continuation from universes which existed prior to ours. Thus, we can trace the continuity of form back infinitely.

Buddhism puts forward a methodical plan of action for the gradual elimination of stress and the increase of happiness and understanding.
The first step recommended in this plan is the observance of the Five Precepts comprising the abstention from killing, stealing, illicit sex, falsehood, and intoxicants
The next step in the process of training is the control of the sense faculties.
The third step in the management of stress is the cultivation of wholesome mental habits through meditation (bhavana).
The cultivation of positive emotions such as loving kindness (metta), compassion (karuna), joy, and equanimity is another means of conquering stress.
We cannot change the world so that it will give us happiness. But we can change our attitude towards the world so as to remain unaffected by the stresses exerted by events around us. Buddhism teaches the way to bring about this wholesome change of attitude
