October 20, Healing Prayer Service, 7 PM

Our monthly healing service invites the healing presence and touch of the Lord into our lives, families, church, and community. We offer prayers for healing for body, soul, spirit, and relationships. At our services, there is no calling people out, requirement to identify needs, say anything or get out of your seat. We pray for healing for the congregation, and if those present would like to receive personal prayer, what they share is confidential and
completely voluntary. Join us to receive the Lord’s healing and to offer your prayers for others.

Prepare To Be Blessed with Music from the Three Choirs

On Sunday afternoon, October 16 three churches (Wesley Monumental UMC, Christ Church Anglican, and St. John the Baptist Catholic) gathered their four adult choirs (our own Parish Choir and Compline Choirs along with the adult choirs from the other two churches) to combine the hearts, hands, and voices over 150 singers, brass, timpani, and organ for a massed festival concert.
Several pieces of music were offered together as a massed choir as well as individual selections from each of the four choirs. Also, the gathered audience joined in the singing of several grand hymns with brass, organ, and timpani spread throughout the concert. This is the first known venture of this scale in Savannah's history, and we were delighted to be included in such a beautiful and holy event.
This wonderful event is now available on Vimeo through Cathedral Productions. Click the image below to watch and listen.

Enjoy the concert!

Being a good steward of our time is super important and if you find yourself with even a little extra time in your schedule, please prayerfully consider sharing your time by volunteering! If you are like me, you may find that your schedule is unpredictable and cannot accommodate a consistent weekly commitment of time, which might feel discouraging...however you can still share your time and talents with folks in our neighborhood! This Thanksgiving Day, we have the privilege of hosting Catherine Jones Ministries in Hebron Hall to serve its 4th Annual Thanksgiving Day Meal on Thursday, November 24th.
Make Plans to Serve:
  • Preparing meals (9 a.m. - 11 a.m.)
  • Welcoming our neighbors and serving meals (11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
  • Cleaning up the space (12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
If you are interested in volunteering - even an hour of time really makes a difference - please email Valerie Hanks
