Being a good steward of our time is super important and if you find yourself with even a little extra time in your schedule, please prayerfully consider sharing your time by volunteering! If you are like me, you may find that your schedule is unpredictable and cannot accommodate a consistent weekly commitment of time, which might feel discouraging...however you can still share your time and talents with folks in our neighborhood! This Thanksgiving Day, we have the privilege of hosting Catherine Jones Ministries in Hebron Hall to serve its 4th Annual Thanksgiving Day Meal on Thursday, November 24th.
Make Plans to Serve:
- Preparing meals (9 a.m. - 11 a.m.)
- Welcoming our neighbors and serving meals (11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.)
- Cleaning up the space (12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
If you are interested in volunteering - even an hour of time really makes a difference - please email Valerie Hanks vhanks@ccasav.org
Catherine Jones Ministries is a local organization that reaches out to the needy, lost, elderly, women and youth by providing them with both spiritual and physical nourishment. Learn more via this link: https://www.facebook.com/catherinejonesministries/about/?ref=page_internal

PRAYER
Collect for the Week
Proper 26 Week of October 30
Grant us, Lord, not to be anxious about earthly things, but to love things heavenly; and even now, as we live among things that are passing away, to hold fast to those that shall endure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
