MLC News and Updates - 4/24/2022
Hello MLC-
Happy ongoing Easter Season to all of you. It was great to see so many folks at our Easter Service last week! Also, I am really really enjoying the warming of the weather and the diminishing of the rainy season. Hopefully the weather continues to hold.
First piece of business - attached are the bulletin and the prayer list for this week, for those MLC families who are watching from home tomorrow. I'll try to make sure to send these out every week.
The other piece of business - we are starting a new adult education topic tomorrow. For the foreseeable future (I'm never any good at estimating these things), our topic of study and conversation will be "The Context of the Gospels." We will be taking an in-depth look at each of the four Gospels, and specifically at the context of when they were written and how it affects their reading. We will be working chronologically through the books, starting with Mark and wrapping up with John, so if you want to read ahead, maybe brush up on Mark. But, as always, no advanced reading is required to participate. Hope to see you there!
