We want to wish all of you a very happy new year, and bring you up to speed on some exciting things that the Bisbee’s Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund has going on right now.

The first issue of the quarterly Bisbee’s Conservation Journal is now up on our website. This new e-magazine is packed with information, stunning photography and embedded videos on conservation projects from around the world. We encourage all of you to send us magazine content that is conservation and outdoors related, personal experiences in the field and views etc. We’d love to include them.  If you would like a printed copy of the magazine you can pick one up at our event booths or we would be happy to send you one.
We will be attending some exciting, upcoming events.  Please come visit us at the Dallas Safari Club Convention in Texas on Jan 15 - 18 (biggame.org) or the Safari Club Int’l Show in Las Vegas on Feb 4 - 7 (showsci.org).  We’ll also be at The Billfish Foundation’s International Tag and Release Awards Ceremony that takes place Feb. 13 at Jungle Island in Miami, FL (billfish.org). If you’re attending the Miami Boat Show you should plan on this fun event for sure.
We currently have an on-line auction going on where you could be THE FIRST PERSON IN HISTORY to “GREEN HUNT” a world class Bongo. This first-ever “Catch and Release Hunt” will take place at the famous (and absolutely incredible) Morani River Conservation Ranch in Texas which is home to one of the largest collections of exotic animal species on the planet. The Morani’s herd of elusive Bongo produced the pending #1 and #2 world records in 2014. What is a green hunt… What in the world is a Bongo… What is this all about… Where do the conservation donation proceeds from this auction go? Please click here for all of the details, but in short, during your 4 night, 3 day stay at Morani’s luxury ranch, you and a guest will make history as you hunt a Bongo with tranquilizing equipment where vets will be on hand to perform some important scientific and reproductive procedures during the short time the animal is sedated. Of course there’ll be time for some great photos and admiration of the animal, and we’ll also have a television production team there to capture your whole experience for you to share with others. All of this, and you won't even have to get on a plane and go to Cameroon or the Congo, which is where these animals are from. The auction ends on Jan. 31st at midnight.  Place your bid online at http://bisbeesconservationfund.org/Conservation/GreenHunt!
Our BisbeesConservationFund.org web-site has some great new videos on it. One is a Conservation Fund overview that will fill you in on each of our current projects. There is another that features our Second Ark Foundation project and a great video showing the successful relocation of our rhino breeding pair and calf to their new home at the reserve where our anti rhino poaching field ranger training academy is located in South Africa.

Thank you very much for your interest in helping us conserve, manage and restore our world’s fish, wildlife and their habitats!

Most Sincerely - Wayne
