Volunteer to Maintain Elizabeth Caruthers Park

Elizabeth Caruthers Park is a lovely oasis in our South Waterfront Community that requires constant care and attention. The lone City horticulturalist responsible for it's maintenance is looking for volunteers to help keep the park beautiful. With his supervision, volunteers will periodically meet to remove invasive weeds and debris. To learn more about the project, please contact marti.yoder@gmail.com

Save the Date for Opera a la Cart!

Opera a la Cart is back! The Portland Opera will be performing on Sunday, August 11th at 6:30 pm at the end of SW Pennoyer abutting the Greenway between the Atwater and Meriwether. We encourage all to save the date for this special summertime performance of the arts. Bring your neighbor, a lawn chair, and a refreshing drink. There will also be a live wine auction at the event to continue to support this program in the future.
