Continuing the theme set at our reopening and 2nd birthday we have welcomed lots of new pieces to the gallery in the last couple of weeks. We are over the moon to be the first gallery to take in Brittany Delany's new range of hand-built porcelain, metal and leather pots. So new that they are yet to be named by one of our superb rising stars of the pottery world.
We have also welcomed Gail Dooley with her delightful birds to the gallery. Brendan Hesmondhalgh has also added to his collection in the gallery with some more affordable pieces and we understand that we are one of two outlets for his work this year.
There is still lots more to come, including some new sculpture, paintings and of course new ceramics from all over the UK. If you would like any details of the new artists arriving please email here.
Hand-built sculptures and plates from Nottingham - last weekend in the gallery - please call 01439 748392 to reserve.
Our first foray into photography sees s link up with local artist Joe, who uses a pin-hole camera and makes no further alterations to each image. The advantages are apparent to see in the excellent fine detail limited edition prints (we have edition 1 of 5) beautifully presented sandwiched between two sheets of the highest quality perspex available. Initial reception has been extremely good too! More information will be launched on our website shortly.
Art and Engineering combine with some stunning lights, clocks and everyday household items, redesigned for the 21st century. Modern materials and techniques meet retro design and classic shapes to form fabulous items, a must have for any interior design project!
