Hi <<First Name>>
It's a wet and very windy day here at Holly House. As I write this newsletter , we're feeling the lashings of the after effects of hurricane Gonzalo, I'm reminded just how powerful mother nature truly is, she holds me in awe of her strength and might. I don't know about you but I am inspired by the boundless and timeless beauty of mother nature, it's as though she can express her changing emotions in the shifting seasons. If you're out and about today I wish you safe passage, as the winds of change charge across the land.

I wondered what topic to write about in this month's offering.I sat here, fingers poised above the keyboard, waiting for inspiration..... and then it came to me, why not write about just that... INSPIRATION!

I wonder... what truly inspires you?

There are so many inspirations in my life, in fact I'm inspired by life itself. I wanted to share a recent inspiration with you, from just this week.

I was blessed to be working alongside my colleagues from Get The Edge ( with my business training and development head on) We were running an "Inspire" day with the wonderful team at Stoke Rochford Hall, a truly inspirational place in itself. I was truly honoured to be alongside not only my gorgeous man Jon, but also Andy McMenemy - currently "True Englishman of the year" and Andy Reid ,The Sun Military award winner for overcoming adversity.

As I listened to their stories, which I had heard before in truth, I noticed the reaction on the faces of those in the room, they were without doubt truly inspired.

Andy McMenemy has pushed himself to the edge of death as an endurance athlete, having run both the Marathon de Sables; the toughest foot race on Earth and then taken on the challenge of running across the Namibia desert where he mistakenly took a protein drink that caused his body to have such a severe adverse reaction it could have killed him.... not even that was enough for Andy, he then went on to break a World record by running 66 ultra marathon's in the 66 cities of the UK, on 66 consecutive days for charity. Not only that he tour his Achilles tendon on day two, but continued to run and complete his challenge.

It was during that challenge that he met Andy Reid, who was representing the charity he was running for in Liverpool. Andy was blown up by an IED in Afghanistan loosing both of his legs and his right arm.Andy is a true inspiration, he is what I would call limitless, he really does believe that what the mind conceives the body can achieve. In fact just last week to mark the fifth anniversary of his injury he climbed mount Snowdon... yes you read that right! In fact if you'd like to hear Andy's full story you can read his book "Standing Tall"

I know these guys really inspire me.The determination to push their limits is truly amazing and they continue to do this not only for themselves, but for the benefit of others.

Andy McMenemy signs off every one of his emails with this question that I share with you now....

"Are you limited by your Challenges  or Challenging your Limits?"

Remember with just a little bit of inspiration, a spoonful of belief and a dash of courage.... as Walt Disney would tell us
" All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them"

Wishing you a truly inspirational month
make every moment count,
