Event Reminder: Join us for our annual Halloween Party on Saturday, October 20th from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Stroll through the spooky forest or enter the haunted trail if you dare! Take a hay ride through the park, visit with nocturnal animals, and hear scary stories. We'll also have candy, fun games like pumpkin bowling, and food for purchase at the shelter house. The event is free, but donations are appreciated.

Intersection Improvement: Clark State Road at Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road

The Franklin County Engineer's Office will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the proposed improvement of Clark State Road at Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format. There will be no formal presentations, but personnel from the Franklin County Engineer's Office will be present to discuss the proposed improvements.

DID YOU KNOW? While located in Jefferson Township, both Clark State Road and Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road are under the jurisdiction of the Franklin County Engineer for all maintenance and snow removal. Other Franklin County Engineer roads include: Havens Corners Road, Waggoner Road, Taylor Road, Taylor Station Road, Kitzmiller Road, and Morse Road.

Morse Road Temporary Closure

The City of New Albany and the Franklin County Engineer have notified Jefferson Township that a portion of Morse Road near Babbitt Road, will be closed for a period of up to 53 days, beginning October 15, 2018. The purpose of the closure is to construct a waterline extension to serve the Beech Road portion of the New Albany International Business Park.  For more information about the project, please refer to the Project Update portion of the City of New Albany’s website at
