Ron's Reflections: A Message from the Head of School
On Saturday, April 22, Orinda Academy participated in The EdRev Fair, an educational fair at AT&T Park in San Francisco. This fair is for and about students with learning differences and is presented by the Parents Education Network, a nonprofit group serving LD families and educators with resources, support, workshops, and professional development. The EdRev Fair includes for schools, educational therapists, LD resources, and vendors selling assistive technology, fun activities, art show, and other educational resources and support. There are also many workshops, programs and speakers designed to support LD students. Orinda Academy had a table there to promote our school. OA teachers also attended the fair to hear speakers, attend professional development workshops, and explore the resources available. If you couldn't make it this year, we encourage you to join us next spring!
