Roll Into The Week Edition
July 18, 2022

News Summary

  • Perhaps the slowest and strangest car chase ever happened on Saturday evening in Point Reyes Station. Apparently a truck was stolen in SF, pulled over in San Anselmo then led CHP on a chase through West Marin. The front tire was blown out. They circled around Point Reyes Station a couple of times, ditched truck, tried to run and were arrested
  • Fire crews were on the scene of a 20x20 ft fire in redwood trees in the 7000 block of Lucas Valley Rd. on Sunday. It had a slow rate of spread and they took care of it.
  • The Green Bridge replacement project in Point Reyes Station is still two years away from implementation due to ongoing litigation over design. (PRLight w paywall)
