Simon's Choice:

My choice of opportunity available through would be International Financial Advisers for Tokyo.

This opportunity is with one of the most highly respected IFA companies in Tokyo, and offers Sales Professionals the chance to live and work in a truly unique location. With the recent increase in the numbers of British Ex-pats now working in Tokyo, it offers Financial Advisers the chance to earn a serious income whilst experiencing an incredible culture.

Tokyo is a truly unique city. With the impressive Mount Fuji in the distance, it not only offers visitors the vibrant hustle and bustle of most cities, but also provides the delights of Japanese culture, with its numerous museums and the Imperial Palace.  Tokyo has many theatres for the performing arts. These include national and private theatres for traditional forms of Japanese drama (such as Noh and Kabuki) as well as the modern productions that you would expect to find in the West End or Broadway.

There is a truly diverse range of top quality cuisine on offer in Tokyo, with the city having nearly as many restaurants holding the internationally acclaimed 3 Michelin Stars as Paris

Many different festivals occur throughout Tokyo. Major events include the Sannō at Hie Shrine, the Sanja at Asakusa shrine and the biennial Kanda Festivals. The last features a parade with elaborately decorated floats and thousands of people. Annually on the last Saturday of July, an enormous fireworks display over the Sumida River attracts over a million viewers.

Tokyo is home to two professional baseball clubs the Yomiuri Giants, who play at the Tokyo Dome and Tokyo Yakult Swallows at Meiji-Jingu Stadium The Japan Sumo Association is also headquartered in Tokyo at the Ryogoku Kokugikan sumo arena where three official sumo tournaments are held annually (in January, May, and September). Football clubs in Tokyo include F.C.Tokyo and Tokyo Verdy 1969 both of which play at Ajinomoto Stadium in Chofu.

Tokyo is also amongst the front runners to host the 2020 summer Olympic Games.
