33rd Annual SC Business Week Begins With Biggest Class to Date... Tomorrow, we kick off our annual SC Business Week with a record 200 high school students from across the state! Starting with the basics and adding topics throughout the week, students collaborate with real South Carolina business leaders and executives in an intensive program designed to develop a thorough understanding of private enterprise and gain critical leadership skills. Some highlights include "Junk Night," a tour of the BMW plant, "Shark Tank" and more, closing the week with several scholarships awarded to graduating students. Deadline draws near to apply for South Carolina Farm Aid Funding... Farmers who suffered crop loss due to last year’s flood have less than a month remaining to apply for South Carolina Farm Aid grants through the South Carolina Department of Agriculture. The deadline for applying is August 15, 2016and applications can be foundhere. The SC Chamber was a staunch advocate for Farm Aid this legislative session and encourages all farmers to take advantage of this opportunity to get back on their feet.
