Entrepreneurs in residence - Business chat series

Don't miss:  May 19th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.: " Practical and effective means to conquer your market " with Marie-Josée Richer, cofounder of Prana, 2006 laureate. (In French)

Marie-Josée will address the following topics:

  • A dedicated and high-performing team from the get go: we need to be surrounded by the right people to nurture growth. The challenge is to create conditions to help recruit and retain good employees.
  • Build on the packaging: over 10 years the branding of Prana transformed from targeting Granola types to Yuppies.
  • Clarify the mission and vision: formalize the mission to meet the needs of employees and align them with same goal.
  • Have a strong and innovative growth strategy for both the product and the management of the company
  • Employ a "Purpose led company" management approach to get employees to buy into the mission.
  • Evaluate the company using the "triple bottom line" principle: social, environmental and economic performance of Prana.
  • Establish robust distribution channels: independent shops, chains, bulk and an online store.
  • Quickly initiate your market development activities in simple and effective ways
  • Today's challenge: expanding into the United States.
