In a webinar, Nicolas Morand, Business Financing Director at Fondation Montréal Inc., will answer questions from entrepreneurs who want to discover how to submit a grant application that stands out by highlighting the realistic and innovative attributes of your business project.

February 12, from 9 am to noon: "Starting a business through innovation," with Mathieu Boivin, Founder, President and CEO of Composite Transtex, Norduyn and Norcan Aluminium, 1999 Laureate.  - conference in French, Q/A bilingual.

Our guest speaker is the entrepreneur Mathieu Boivin who launched in 1999 his first business, Transtex Composite, upon completing his engineering studies. Since then, he has grown the company through product development and the acquisition of companies that strengthen its mission: to improve energy efficiency through aerodynamic, weight reduction and logistical innovation. Today, Mathieu directs an SME with 200 employees and centres of operation in the United States and China. 95% of the company's sales are generated outside of Canada.


March 18, from 9 am to noon: « Building a winning team », with David Lipes, cofounder and co-CEO of Budge Studios, laureate 2001. - conference in English.

Budge Studios is the industry leader in entertaining kids through innovative and creative apps with products such as Strawberry ShortcakeTM, Care BearsTM, Crayola®, The SmurfsTM, Caillou®, ChuggingtonTM and GarfieldTM. For David, Budge Studio’s success can be mostly explained by the strength of the team he was able to build.


9 a.m. : Presentation by the entrepreneur of the challenge and its solutions, continuous discussion and questions / answers

11 a.m. to 12 p.m. : Individual coaching meetings of 20 minutes each (with interested participants)

Cocktail for Entrepreneurs hosted by the Jeune Chambre de Commerce de Montréal (JCCM) 

The JCCM will be hosting an evening networking event. Three panel groups will be there to inform entrepreneurs about the wide range of support out there to help them grow their business.

Take part in a trade mission to the 2016 Wearable Technology Show 

Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec are offering two Québec entrepreneurs who specialize in the commercialization of wearable devices to take part in Export Québec trade mission to London, England from the 14th to 17th of March, 2016.  This mission includes participation in the largest industry trade show of its kind in Europe, the Wearable Technology Show (WTS), which brings together for 2 days over 6000 professionals and 200 speakers.

The McGill Dobson Cup Start-UP Competition (MDC) is McGill’s flagship start-up competition that enables budding entrepreneurs to compete for more than $100,000 in cash and other prizes.

Participate in the 2016 Startup LAUNCH Festival 

Les Offices jeunesse internationaux du Québec want to help young entrepreneurs who are starting a business to participate in the Startup LAUNCH Festival which will be held in San Francisco, California from March 2th to 4th, 2016.
The Startup LAUNCH Festival is the largest business startup conference in the world. The objective of the festival is to assist future founders to build, plan and finance the next generation of innovative companies.
