We're spilling the tea:

June 26th marked the first installment of Canteen's Tabletop Think Tank. Not only was it the first gathering in our new space, but it was a unique meeting of the minds. We gathered representatives from leading tabletop production companies, that traditionally have thought of each other as competitive forces, under one roof for friendly conversation, tacos, and drinks. It was a diverse group of directors, photographers, producers, stylists, VFX experts, and SFX ops. Everyone enjoyed making new alliances, sharing techniques, creative opinions and best practices in business. We ran out of beers earlier than we would have liked, but we still agree the Think Tank is a great way to make new friends and strengthen our industry as a whole – so we will be doing it again and we would like to see you there.

We have also brought our motion control robot home! We are excited to be the first American home of the Ulysse Cranebot, from France-based cinema robotics developer Sublab. The Ulysse offers a ton of unique, user-friendly motion control features that are specifically designed to make tabletop productions more efficient.
