As we head into Labor Day weekend, we want to take a moment to recognize the talented crew members who help elevate our productions.

We won't embarrass anyone by name, but we want to send a big thank you to all of our:

Script Supervisors

and more......

We are particularly aware of showing our appreciation not just because Labor Day is just around the corner, but also because we see the commentary happening now on social media, asking for production companies to improve crew working conditions and to ensure 8-10 hour days.  While we are not a union signatory, we always run our sets with respect and consideration for our crews. We hear you and want to help be a part of the solution.

Just this week, we had the opportunity to speak with one of our clients about maintaining a 10-hour shoot schedule for our crew, and while the conversation was a new one for them, they not only were open to hearing it, but explained how well they understood it.  Being that they are in the food industry, where fair labor conditions are an ongoing concern, they fully respected our stance.

In the production industry especially, we know that many of our crew members have put in countless hours, months and years, away from friends and family, to develop their skills and contribute to our community by creating the art, entertainment, advertising, news etc that keeps our world turning. 

In honor of Labor Day, we would like to call upon our production community to join us in this effort of advocating on behalf of our crews, to ensure that they are provided with fair wages, hours and a happy workplace.

For all employees out there, whether you are a Gaffer or a Line Cook, a Welder or a Food Stylist, we salute you and will do our part to ensure that you are able to work in a positive and safe environment.  Hopefully you'll get the chance to kick your feet up this weekend and relax with a cold one!
