Our recent shoots have all entered post, which makes now a great time to intro some of the new talent that makes up Canteen. We looked all over the world to assemble a fresh, new roster of talent that is diverse in vision and skill. The result is a varied group of directors each representing a niche of tabletop expertise and collectively representing the world's most progressive talents. The new roster also marks an expansion from tradition by including VFX specialists, visualists, and animation Directors. Let's get into it!

New additions are Jacek Szymanski, Niels Thomsen, Paloma Rincon, and Reactiv, along with Canteen partner and director, Erik Dettle carrying over from Chuck Studios.

Jacek Szymanski starts off the new roster additions with a deep body of work that covers everything from fast food to sweets. Jacek's work is visually forward and tactfully ranges from surreal to naturalistic, always demonstrating his technical skill and talent for emphasizing appetite appeal. He has worked for brands like Keebler, McDonald's, and Knorr.

The Marmalade veteran Niels Thomsen also joins the roster and leads the charge in Canteen's push to combine live action tabletop and VFX. Thomsen's work seamlessly fuses lifestyle, VFX, and stunning tabletop cinematography – often all in a single spot. He has Directed for such brands as Nescafe and McDonald’s.

Paloma Rincón is a visualist whose graphic style and bold use of color define her style. Her visual puns challenge common perceptions and bring a ton of energy to the roster. Her work has appeared in a range of exhibitions around the globe and she was recently recognized by the VICE Creators Project, which noted her interest in “palpable textures and absurd juxtaposition.” Some of her food and beverage clients include Absolut, Michelob Ultra and Oreo.

Reactiv is an animation duo comprised of Alon Isocianu and Anna Junger, who have created both 2D and 3D animations across a range of styles including 3d character animation and photo realistic CG product work for brands like Hershey’s, Cheerios and Burger King.
