Multi-Lingual Rosary

Meditation

Join the NCSS in meditating alongside the works of St. Josemaría Escrivá. This bi-weekly event is a great opportunity to start the week in a prayerful state of mind. Pour yourself a cup of coffee (or tea!), close your eyes, and turn your hearts to Christ!

Come join us at our first ever Zoom-era NCSS Trivia Night! Invite some friends, make up teams of up to 4 participants and compete for the enviable honour of being crowned champions. Questions will be multidisciplinary and designed to filter the truly worthy from the merely competitive.

The Newman Centre Residence has open spaces for the Winter 2021 Term! Are you interested in living with a fun, supportive, spiritually engaged community? Want to live with like-minded individuals? Liturgy of the Word

Our Chaplain, Fr. Joachim will be hosting a weekday Liturgy of the Word until we can resume daily Mass at the Newman Centre. The Liturgy will take place online, via Zoom at 4:30 PM Monday-Friday!

Mass Schedule
Subject to change according to restrictions placed by the University and Quebec
All masses held at the Newman Centre are cancelled until further notice, but you are welcome to visit Catholic churches in downtown Montreal, such as St. Patrick’s Basilica, Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, or the Church of the Gesù to pray or attend their services.
Our chaplain, Fr. Joachim, will remain available to speak with you via Zoom, and he would love to hear from you. He can be reached by email at chaplain@newmancentre.org.
You may also join us for the online Liturgy of the Word, held at 4:30 PM Monday-Friday.

Centre Hours
The Newman Centre is open weekdays from 10:00AM-5:00PM (extended hours on some days) and on weekends during scheduled events such as Mass.

Parking at Newman
Parking spaces are reserved for staff, all others by permission only. Fees apply. See a member of staff before parking. Unidentified vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
