Meet the NCSS Executive Member

Meet Hailey Eckersberg!

What is your position on the NCSS executive board?

I am the VP Communications. I am in charge of all of the NCSS communications such as sending out these weekly emails, creating social media posts, and updating our website.

What is your year and program?
I am a second year student majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Computer Science.

What is your favorite event the NCSS puts on each year?
My favorite event is the Newman Ball. It is such an awesome time to dance and chat and I had a blast planning for it.

Who is your favorite saint and why?
My favorite Saint is St. Francis of Assisi. I admire his devotion to peace and humility, and his love for all living beings and for the environment. He inspires me to be humble, patient, and, most importantly, to love everyone always.

What is your favorite bible verse?
"Let all that you do be done in love." 1 Corinthians 16:14

What is your favorite restaurant in Montreal?
I would have to say La Cantina. The tacos there are amazing. Another favorite of mine is Arepera. Going there was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I absolutely loved it.

Feel free to check out the executive committee section of our website to learn more about our executive members.
