Activities from the NCSS & the Newman Centre

Meet the NCSS Executive Member

Meet Alexandra Johnson!

What is your position on the NCSS executive board?

I am serving as the President of the NCSS after completing 2 years of serving as VP Spiritual.

What is your year and program?
I am in my final semester as a U3 student in Classical Voice (my favorite composer is Bach, in case you were wondering!).

What is your favorite event the NCSS puts on each year?
I’d have to say SNS. I love getting together with friends and enjoying a good meal!

Who is your favorite saint and why?
My favorite saint has to be Saint Peter. I relate so much to his desire to grow closer to Our Lord while also falling on his face along the way. In fact, my favorite Bible verse is a quote of his: “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” - John 21:17

What is your favorite restaurant in Montreal?
Hands down: Le Petit Vibe. It’s a combo of modern Hawaiian and Filipino cuisine. You got to try it!

Feel free to check out the executive committee section of our website to learn more about our executive members.
Multilingual Rosary

Join us in the Newman Chapel and online every other Wednesday at 6pm for the multilingual rosary! We will begin this week, Wednesday the 7th! See you there!

The Zoom link can be found on our Facebook event page.
