The Office of the State Bank Commissioner is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of the Deputy Bank Commissioner.

The Deputy Bank Commissioner (DBC) supervises the Director of Examinations and other positions as required, to verify the activities of the departments are conducted in accordance with division policies and procedures and that division goals and objectives are met. The DBC conducts long-range planning for the division, including budgeting, personnel, legislative and regulatory changes, and examination priorities, in coordination with the Commissioner. The DBC serves as the agency’s liaison with federal and state regulatory agencies and participates in related conferences and training as appropriate with approval from the Commissioner. The DBC has authority to make personnel and budget decisions to meet the goals and objectives of the division in partnership with the Director of Finance and Administration with approval from the Commissioner.
