MDF helps Shakarganj source quality milk from small farmers in the Southern Punjab

MDF has signed a partnership with Shakarganj Food Products Ltd. (SFPL) to set up Farm Cooling Tanks (FCTs) for milk collection in the southern Punjab as well as to develop an extension service for the farmers in the villages supplying the FCTs.  Read Full Story.

Takimai factory launch: A sign of good things to come for Ovalau kava farmers

On 28th July 2014, the Honorable Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, Rear Admiral (Ret’d) Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama kicked off the official launch of TakiMai processing facility in Levuka town in Ovalau. TakiMai is a fruit-flavored dietary supplement infused with locally grown kava produced by Fiji-based South Pacific Elixirs (SPE) Limited.    Read Full Story.

The majority of households in Timor-Leste are involved in agriculture. However, yields are often low due to the application of traditional cultivation practices and limited understanding and use of agricultural inputs.
