Digital Single Market to be discussed by the European Parliament 
The European Parliament is expected to debate the DSM strategy in autumn. Parliament’s internal market and consumer protection committee (IMCO) and the industry committee (ITRE) are jointly taking the parliamentary lead on the issue.

EACA International Summer School 2015 was our best yet!

After an intense week of workshops and team work, Summer School participants graduated on 10 July by pitching to the client, Bodegas Barbadillo, the biggest Spanish exporter of manzanilla wine. The client was highly impressed with all campaigns and took many ideas back to their board. EACA Euro Effie Awards Gala 2014: Registrations are open
Registrations are open for tickets to the EACA Euro Effie Awards Gala, which will take place on Tuesday 20 October 2015 at Cercle de Lorraine in Brussels. The EACA Euro Effies are the Gold Standard in Commercial Communications Effectiveness and recognise excellence in commercial communications for campaigns that have run and can prove effectiveness in at least two European countries. 
Great news from Italy!
17 major Italian PR agencies joined the Italian Association of Communications Companies (ASSOCOM). ASSOCOM also changed its statutory rules and announced the second edition of the Italian Festival of Creativity in November this year. Read more.
GWA successfully reforms Effie Awards
The number of submissions for GWA Effie Awards has increased by 50 %. 132 entered the competition in ten newly created categories such as “Comeback”, “Activation”, “New-New” or “Brand Experience”. GWA Effie introduced new categories that reflect the latest communication trends. The award ceremony will take place on 5 November 2015 in Frankfurt. Read more.
