IAB Europe survey: what is driving or preventing programmatic investment?
Assessing the current adoption of, and attitudes towards, programmatic advertising from both buy- and sell-side stakeholders is important to elevate industry understanding and identify areas for guidance. Therefore, the IAB Europe invites brand advertisers, agencies and publishers to share their thoughts on Programmatic Advertising in this survey. Complete the survey before 8th April to be in with a chance of winning an Interact 2016 ticket. The survey will close on Friday 22nd April. 
EAC 2016
With registrations coming to a close, nearly 200 young professionals from across Europe will sit the EAC offline exam on 14 April 2016. The EAC represents a unique opportunity for young professionals to expand their knowledge of the commercial communications industry. Results will be announced in June 2016. For those who would like to take this chance and get certified, registrations for the next edition will open in January 2017. 
EACA International Summer School 2016
A great success for eight years now, the EACA International Advertising Summer School continues to inspire students and young professionals in the field of commercial communications. This year’s edition will be held in Berlin (Germany) from 4 to 8 July 2016 and the challenge will be presented by Deutsche Telekom. One of the highlights of this year is the course delivered by IAB on digital advertising. Interested candidates must send their CV and motivation letter (both in English) to by 29 April 2016. The student fee is €325 (edcom members) or €450 (non-members) and EACA young professionals pay €650 as opposed to non-EACA members who pay €800. Visit our website for more information.
First round judging for the Ad Venture Student Competition 2016
The judging process for the Ad Venture Student Competition 2016 has started and the judges seem to be very impressed and enthusiastic about the creative work that has been submitted. A total of 76 teams (around 300 students) have submitted a campaign to raise awareness about the consequences of ad blocking technology for the access of quality online content. The campaigns are being scored according to three criteria: the proposed strategy, the key creative insight and the creative materials. Based on the results of the first round judging, the best 10 teams will advance to the second round in mid-April. The top 3 campaigns will be announced at the end of the month and the winning team will be selected on 20 May. Have a look at our website to find out more.
Euro Effie Awards celebrates 20 years
The Euro Effie Awards 2016 is the 20th edition of this important industry competition. Call for entries is now open through May 2016. To be considered for a Euro Effie, campaigns must offer proof of having met or exceeded clearly stated objectives in at least two or more European markets.
